Unione Europea accusa l’Italia: falsi i bilanci di 91 partiti italiani

Il Gruppo di Stati contro la corruzione (GRECO, Groupe d’Etats Contre la Corruptione) del Consiglio d’Europa, in un suo rapporto, richiama l’Italia ad affrontare con grande priorità la corruzione politica:“From 1997 to 2009, 91 political parties have been found in an irregular position as regards their annual financial statements. Only 6 of them, however, have actually suffered the effects of the sanction of suspension of electoral reimbursements because they were still beneficiary of them (having accrued annual instalments after the notification of the irregularity/ies in question). Because of that sanction, such parties may not receive the relevant reimbursements until full regularisation of their financial reports. The remaining 85 parties, having received before the notification of the relevant irregularity/ies, all the annual instalments of reimbursements owed to them (e.g. the fifth and last instalment) and not having accrued other ones as a result of participation in subsequent elections (e.g. because they are now extinct or have not reached the necessary statutory threshold for new reimbursements), do not actually suffer the adverse effects of the penalty described (i.e. suspension of electoral reimbursements)”.

Dal 1997 al 2009 sono stati ben 91 i partiti che hanno presentato bilanci taroccati e fasulli. Secondo la commissione, i partiti hanno ricevuto ben il 400% in più di quanto dovuto grazie ai bilanci falsati presentati dai partiti e della legge sul finanziamento pubblico ai partiti, abrogata dal referendum popolare e poi rispuntata dopo pochi anni attraverso la norma sul rimborso elettorale.
